Younger Aussies are getting their gardening tips from Instagram influencers meanwhile the people who've actually been growing stuff for decades have been keeping their secrets to themselves. Dirty Old Secrets flips that dynamic. We created ten doco-style episodes where seasoned gardeners spill the hilarious, unexpected and genuinely genius hacks they've been sitting on for years, covering everything from growing edibles to getting your citrus together. The campaign kicked off with OOH and social across Australia, teasing cryptic gardening secrets and driving people to Dirtyoldsecrets.com to uncover the full stories. My role was to design and build the site, leaning hard into the offbeat visual style with custom animations, quirky transitions and playful interactions to make the experience feel as weird and wonderful as the advice itself. This all turned Seasol from a dusty garden staple into something younger audiences actually want to engage with, proving it's not just part of gardening history, it's still the secret weapon.
